Ideal Weight - BMI Calculator or simply Ideal Weight is a simple application that will let you calculate your body mass index as well as other people’s. Apart from that, it also serves as a tracker for your weight gain or weight loss journey. Since the app graphs out your progress, you will be able to visualize everything at a glance.
Ideal Weight is free and easy to use. There’s also no login or registration required. All you have to do is input your height, weight, and birthdate at the very beginning. You can also configure the regional settings.
Excellent weight tracker but lacks supplemental features
Whether you want to lose, gain, or maintain your weight, you can count on this application to accompany you in your journey. It will let you set a goal and it is up to you if you prefer to log how much weight you’ve gained or less daily, weekly, or monthly. Regardless of your preference, you will be able to see a graph of your progress in the Statistics section.
Apart from your own, you can also calculate other people’s BMI. Simply type in the age, gender, height, and weight of that person and the screen will tell you where they fall in the BMI meter. If you’re nitpicky about units, you’d be pleased to know that Ideal Weight will let you choose between 'cm' or 'ft' for the height units and either 'kg' or 'lb' for the weight units.
You can also reset your data whenever you want to. Unfortunately, that’s all everything this app has to offer. It is simply a tracker and a BMI calculator. Unlike other weight management apps that have a calorie counter and food diary section, this one has no extra features that will motivate you and you will receive no rewards whatsoever when you do reach your goal.

Ideal Weight is a great tool that you can easily whip up whenever you want to check your or other people’s BMI index. It is very easy to use and generous in measurement unit choices. However, there’s really nothing much to do on the app and if you only want to know what your BMI is, it’s simpler to check it on Google.
